Hello, I am Ms. Emily, a school social worker at Po Leung Kuk Mrs Fong Wong Kam Chuen Kindergarten, coming from Kwun Tong Methodist Social Service.
School-based social work services focus on two aspects. First, the service emphasise work with young children, helping them navigate growth and learning across different areas of development. The service also provides tailored support for children with special educational or developmental needs, creating a nurturing environment for healthy growth. Second, to engage with parents, offering support in positive parenting, emotional well-being, and family relationships, encourage parents on the parenting journey to feel empowered.
I hope to support and accompany children through individual counselling, group programs for young children or parents, and parent-child activities within the school. Together, we can help these “young seedlings” flourish with love and encouragement, and discover their unlimited potential!
