Participating in the Early Childhood Creativity Robot Programming
of the Department of Science and Environmental Studies, Education University of Hong Kong
The project commenced in December 2020, with the help of their instructors, about 30 students were able to complete: (1) An animal friend robot with the ability to walk forward and backwards. (2) A welcome robot that can “Say Hello!”. The children were enthusiastic in learning, creative and imaginative, and the whole activity ended in a joyful atmosphere. On 19 June, the children participated in a sharing session on the results of the “Early Childhood Creativity Robot Programming” organised by the Department of Science and Environment Studies of the Education University of Hong Kong.
