Concern to the physical and mental health of children

The School of Dentistry of The University of Hong Kong provides children's dental              health outreach services in Hong Kong kindergartens so that they may conduct             "oral examination and fluorine treatment" for all students, as well as to apply silver            ammonia fluoride to posterior caries for those students in need.

"A LIKE for Smoke-free" smoking prevention education programme

The programme has collaborated with the “The Radiant Theatre” to tour its territory-wide drama production which is introduced to Kindergartens to promote “Smoke Free” – a message teaching kids of the health dangers of smoking from an early age, and to cultivate a healthy and positive attitude toward a smoke-free life.

May 31st is annually "World No Tobacco Day". Smoke-free education courses are implemented in schools to allow children to deepen their understanding of the health risks of smoking. This will encourage children to share what they’ve learned with their family members and work toward building a smoke-free family life together.
