Board members and their functions


  1. The schools board of directors have 15 board members, including the current term, Po Leung Kuk's chairman as our school chair; 5 current vice chairs, 3 senior executives,  independent manager,  general director,  vice general director, lead teaching director PLK assistant principal education secrctary and financial director.
  2. The board of directors are in charge of monitoring the school's operations. Including examination of the school principals quarterly report, the yearly school report and the school's development blueprint. The board will hold regular meetings to decide on important school changes, activities and more.
  3. The board of directors have close relations with the education bureau of hong kong, the parties hold regular meetings to discuss ideas, exchange feedback and insight as well as compare school operational techniques. Through external school visits, class monitoring, and teaching school monitoring reports, the board gain in-depth information on the development and progression of the teaching staff.
  4. Po Leung Kuk's provides a range of departments to aid school operations, finances, human resources, engineering, information technology, social welfare and other development and operational activities. The available departments are, teaching operations, finance, human resources, central administration, production and engineering, corporate communications and public relations, confirmation bureau, IT, and finally, social operations and welfare.
