Information on Admission to K1 Classes In the 2024/25 School Year
A Online Admission:
1. Please complete the application form, handle the payment and submit online.
2. For details, refer to the school website (information will be updated on 1 August 2023). Online application: https://application.plkkgs.edu.hk/ available from 1 August 2023.
3. Before starting online application, please have the required documents prepared and ready:
i. Applicants birth certificate (upload format: png/jpg/jpeg, upload limit 5M)
ii. A passport photo which is taken within 3 months (upload format: png/jpg/jpeg, upload limit 5M)
iii. Application fee HKD$40
-Payment method: directly with Visa, Master card/
-Direct transfer through bank or ATM, please retain the receipt of the transfer for
our confirmation (upload format: png/jpg/jpeg, upload limit 5M) (Bank name: Hong Kong HSBC, Bank account: 174-080390-001)
4. E-mail notification of interviews will be sent by 21 October 2023.
5. Please contact the school at 2322 0133 if you haven’t received the e-mail before 1 November 2023.
B Obtain Application Form: (No Quota)

C Return of Application Forms in person (No set quota for application)
1. Date: Starting from 18 September 2023 (Mon)
2. Time: 9:30am-5pm (Mon-Fri)
9:30am-12pm (Sat)
D Return method:
1. Submit the application form in person with the following:
i. A copy of birth certificate
ii. 5 stamped self-addressed envelope(Please fill in the correct addressing and ensure sufficient postage has been paid before posting) and HKD$40.00 Application fee.(Non-refundable)
2. Application fee: HK$40 (to be collected together with the application form). The application fee is non-returnable whether the application is successful or not.
E The Registration Certificate for Kindergarten admission 2024-2025 (The RC)
1. The Government will implement the “Free Quality Kindergarten Education Scheme”. All Scheme-KGs can only admit students holding a valid registration document.
2. Applicants should apply to the EDB for the RC from September to November 2023. The application only for children who born before 31 December 2021. Applicants must be Hong Kong citizen or holding valid permission to abode with Right of Abode/Land in Hong Kong or free from any condition of stay (excluding a limit of stay).
F Admission Criteria
1. Interview performance
2. The applicant with sibling(s) currently studying in our kindergarten will be under priority consideration.
3. The applicant’s parents or sibling(s) graduated from our kindergarten will be under priority consideration.
G Interview Arrangements
1. The kindergarten will arrange interview for all applicants.
2. Interviews will be conducted on the 4 November 2023 (Sat) and notification will be sent by email.
3. One Parent / Guardian should accompany their child for the interview.
4. For interpretation service, please contact our school at 2322 0133.
5. Please bring along the documents listed below on the interview day:
i. Notification of interview
ii. Original copy of birth certificate of the applicant
iii. Original copy of the bank slip with child’s name. (If the application fee is paid via online admission system or by ATM or by counter).
iv. 5 stamped self-addressed envelope(Please fill in the correct address and ensure sufficient postage has been paid before posting)
v. There are no quota for the interview.
H Arrangement for admission application of Non-Chinese Speaking(NCS) Children:
1. When interviewing NCS children, interpretation and/or translation service for applicants will be provided when necessary, or parents and children are allowed to be accompanied with a Chinese speaking relative/friend to facilitate communication. Please contact us by (Tel.23220133 or E-mail:[email protected] ) if interpretation/translation service is required.
I Announcement of Admission Results
We will inform applicants of the application result by mail(only for those who doesn’t have an e-mail address) or e-mail before 25 November 2023.
J Registration Arrangements
1. Successful applicants: Parents should complete the registration procedures for their child from 4-6 January 2024 (“Centralized Registration Dates”) by submitting the original copy of the “2024/25 RC” to the kindergarten and paying the registration fee.
2. Applicants on the waiting list: We will inform applicants by mail(only for those who doesn’t have an e-mail address) or e-mail Parents should complete the registration procedures for their child according to the specified date set by the school. Parents are required to submit the original copy of the “2024/25 RC” to the kindergarten and pay the registration fee.
3. Please be reminded that if parents cannot submit the “2024/25 RC” during registration, the kindergarten may not be able to complete registration for their child. Hence, parents are required to submit their application for the Registration Certificate to EDB within the specified period.
4. The registration fee for 2024/25 K1 is HK$970. If parents decide to change school after registration, please inform the kindergarten with written notice. The kindergarten will return the “2024/25 RC” but the registration fee will not be refunded. Upon obtaining the “2024/25 RC”, the kindergarten will no longer keep the school place for the child.
