Admission Information
A. Introduction of the school
To provide our children the opportunities to develop their generic skills, that are needed for them to become “life-long learners” and develop the ability to “learn how to learn”, nurturing children to attain the comprehensive development of the five educational domains. We strive to cultivate children’s initiative, independent thinking and to develop their innate potential.
We emphasis on achieving bilingualism and trilingualism. We strive to improve students’ language skills through an interactive environment by using drama activities and classroom corner activities. We increase teacher-student interaction by using interactive games.
We adopt small group teaching and thematic approach in which we organize various activities such as festival celebrations, outdoor learning activities and visits, colouring contests, talks, and community outreach activities. This enables students to integrate into the community and broaden their knowledge about their surroundings.
B. School-based Admission Arrangements
- Po Leung Kuk affiliated kindergartens have introduced an online admission system. Parents are able to apply, complete the application form and handle the payment via internet.
- Collection of application Forms: Download from school website / Obtain from school in person.
- Parents are required to submit an application for the “Registration Certificate for Kindergarten Admission” to EDB. The “Registration Certificate” for the next school year will be open for applications in every September. (Click Here for more details.)
- The Kindergarten will arrange interview for all applicants in early November, and inform parents or the admission results before mid December. Parents should complete the registration procedures for their child the “Centralized Registration Dates” by submitting the original copy of the "Registration Certificate” to the kindergarten and paying the registration fee in January.
