About Us
Po Leung Kuk Tam Au-Yeung Siu Fong Memorial Kindergarten is a
non-profit making Kindergarten with Government Free Quality Kindergarten
Education Scheme. Our school was formerly known as Escola Camoes English Kindergarten. It was and still is a non-profit organization with over 40 years of history. It moved to Whampoa Garden in 2000 and adopted the Po Leung Kuk's operation model to nurture children to attain comprehensive development of the five educational domains. We strive to cultivate children's intuitive, independent thinking and to develop their innate potential. The school operates in both A.M. and P.M. sessions and it is able to
accommodate 18 classes in full operation.
The aim of the school are to:
- Promote children's morals, intellect,
physique, social skills and athletic development during their kindergarten
years.
- Provide a conducive environment to suit
curricula and ECAs teaching by using games and term activities as well as
fostering civic mindedness to cultivate social awareness and responsibility.
- Equip children with ample knowledge of IT
using advanced audio-visual facilities, teaching aids, etc., to enhance their
articulation and intellectual capabilities.
- Offer superb classrooms, spacious play
areas and well-equipped activity centers that are compatible with play-based teaching and
children's learning needs. The fully air-conditioned interior is
environmental-friendly as is the exterior.
- Provide children with the best education
since teachers receive professional training and are experienced. Assistant
teachers are posted to all classes to ensure the best in both care and
guidance.
- Comfortable air-conditioned school bus
services and caring minders to ensure complete peace of mind.
Objective:
