Our school is a non-profit making kindergarten which has joined the Government Free Quality Kindergarten Education Scheme. The school operates in both A.M. and P.M. sessions and it is able to accommodate 18 classes with a capacity of 506 in full operation. The teaching language is mainly bilingual in English and Chinese, however, the school offers Putonghua lessons too so as to cultivate children's biliterate and trilingual abilities.

School Activities
In order to facilitate the learning for non-Chinese speaking children, our school designs multi-cultural activities and establishes an inclusive cultural environment. The school admits children of different nationalities, accounting for a quarter of the school's student body.

The school organizes multi-cultural activities such as “Cultural Day” ,  “Games Day” etc., to promote integration between non-Chinese speaking children and Chinese speaking children and to encourage an understanding of each other's cultural background. It also promotes the motivation for learning Chinese through games, creative arts and other activities.

To provide support and attend to the needs of non-Chinese speaking parents, the school organizes parent seminars and workshops for them to understand Hong Kong education model and assist in learning about further studies in Hong Kong.

Additional Chinese Classes
Furthermore, the school has been providing additional Chinese classes after school to enrich non-Chinese speaking children in the learning of Chinese. Teachers use a combination of materials such as story books and smart board with electronic games coupled with diversified teaching methods to enhance their learning abilities for “listening” , “speaking”, “reading” and “writing”.

Teachers Training
In terms of teacher training, teachers of our school have participated in professional development projects, such as the “Jockey Club – Learn Chinese with Fun “ and “Non-Chinese Preschool Language Proficiency Assessment” workshops organized by The Hong Kong University. These can provide teachers with professional training to formulate effective teaching strategies for non-Chinese speaking children so that schools can provide them with more appropriate support.
