Home and School Collaboration
We have organized several groups for parents allowing them to join and understand the institution's ideology and operations with this collaboration we hope to enhance the school and create an enjoyable learning environment for our children. We welcome parents to assist with school activities according to their interests and capabilities.
Reading Groups: To promote "Parent and Student Reading" activities, such as better lend and borrow services, library management as well as, parent and student library decoration events.
Learning Groups: To facilitate lesson based activities, including seasonal decorations around the school, making creative tools, arts and crafts, event preparation and more
Interest Groups: To help plan and initiate regular activities for parents and students; including parent associations, parent and student workshops, school outings and fieldtrips, as well as alumni gatherings.
Beyond regular communication between parents and the school, our faculty also holds regular activities for students and parents. This includes open days, study groups for parents, educational forums, environmental awareness campaigns etc.
School Parents’ Seminar on Children’s Holistic Development
Parent’s parenting style has a great influence on the growth of children, so we need to work together through home-school cooperation. Po Leung Kuk’s kindergartens have always attached importance to the holistic development of children. In order to enable parents to master the methods and skills of raising your children, we are holding an online seminar named ‘Teaching Children with Zero Stress’ for parents.
